Take A Look at Dr. Parcells Summer 2012 Graduate Online Courses. Both classes are offered as electives for the Corporate and General Communication programs:
  • COMM 5210.WO1, e-Communication Strategies (3), which looks at online integrated marketing communications for electronic businesses.
  • COMM 5920.WO1, Economics of the Mass Media (3), offers: a study of media ownership, reviews common electronic media public access regulations; provides an inventory of typical electronic media equipment and personnel; and, looks at how to determine the value of radio and TV stations, and cable systems.

DR. PARCELLS RETURNS TO FULL-TIME TEACHING THIS FALL

Frank Parcells has resigned as the Graduate Coordinator of the Communication Arts M. A. program effective with the Fall Semester 2012. Jim Parker, Assistant Professor of Mass Communication, replaces Parcells and will work with igraduate students interested in either the General Communication area (GCMA.APSU.edu) and communication industry professionals seeking a management degree in corporate communication (available all online with details at CCMA.APSU.edu).
 
Students interested in either M. A. degree program should continue to contact Dr. Parcells throughout the Summer Session 2012 with any questions or seeking advisement for entry into either program in the Fall 2012.
